The rate of poverty has dropped from 26% when the was was first waged to 16% today, but many argue that the war is far from won. Republican leaders Representative Paul Ryan and Senator Marco Rubio have put forth their own plan to restructure anti-poverty programs. President Obama highlighted income inequality and the minimum wage debate in his 2014 State of the Union Address.

In this video, Giuseppe discusses the impact of anti-poverty public works projects on unemployment, city pension liabilities, and the effective tax and wage structure needed to better respond to local concerns on income gap issues.

Charter Communications: Eye on You TV--Obamacare

This video is brought to you by Charter Communications, a broadcasting company in southern California. This episode has been aired on the local Greater Los Angeles Area channels carried by DirectTV, Time Warner Cable, Verizon, AT&T, and Dish Network.

As a special guest, and now regular cast member, Giuseppe was asked to provide an economic public-policy based argument analyzing the impact of Obamacare. In this two-part episode (Part II shown above), Giuseppe discusses how the Affordable Care Act is a form of price-fixation and could potentially hinder competition.
